Here are some of the boys, including Kaden in the bright blue swimsuit.
Next we played musical squirt gun and surprisingly the kids were begging to be blasted!
What kind of a party would it be without the jello slurping contest? Take your pick...Strawberry, Lime, or Apricot!
Kaden slurping away
Kalia trying to get assistance from Mom...she ended up just using a spoon in the end!Even my friend Traci got in on the fun! She was really good at it and I don't think I will ever go up against her! Go Traci!
Time for balloon volleyball! Thanks for the badminton net Mandy! It sure has come in handy!
Jennette was Kalia's partner!
The rest of the party involved dropping clothespins into a jar from your mouth, a water balloon fight, a race to pick up the most water balloon pieces, and boiled hot dogs for dinner. Let me explain..... I planned to grill hot dogs, but at the last minute couldn't get the grill to work so we went with plan B. It was super windy while we ate and we lost tons of chips and popcorn to our yard. I think our baby bunny under the deck appreciated it but we cleaned it up for an hour afterward! My fingers ended up with blisters and bruises from filling all the water balloons. I hid the rest so the kids will give me a break for a couple weeks! It was super hot and windy but a great way to celebrate being out of school!
